Tyson and Melissa, As scary as things seem right now, God is in control. It may not feel that way but He really is. My daughter, Isabella, was born at 28 weeks and had stopped developing at 23 1/2 weeks. She was a pound and a half at birth and spent 3 months in the NICU. Life for the first year was pretty rough, but now she is a totally normal 13 year old. I know that is different than what you may be facing, but when the docs and nurses were rushing me down the hall for a crash c-section, they told me my baby was dead and they were doing this to save my life because her heart had been stopped for over 10 minutes and my blood pressure was at stroke level! It took 6 minutes for them to get her out after getting to the OR... and you can imagine the surgeons surprise when this little peanut of a baby actually cried! The surgeon said it was almost like Lazarus or something out of the Bible! She had no heartbeat for 16 minutes! Then we were told she would be a vegetable due to lack of oxygen, she would be blind, deaf, etc... Let me tell you, God can do ANYTHING He wants, and He often does! I am praying for all three of you more than you know... more than daily. I pray for strength and peace for you both, strength and healing for Junior, and that all three of you feel God's arms tightly around you as you go through this journey. *hugs* to you all...
